By accessing or using Scout&Stake ("the Platform"), including the website at scoutandstake.com and any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Scout&Stake is operated by Scout&Stake ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your use of the Platform, including any waitlist, fantasy league, scouting marketplace, and related features.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. If you are between 16 and 18 years of age, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
We reserve the right to request proof of age or parental consent at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as needed. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must notify us immediately at hello@scoutandstake.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Scout&Stake provides two primary services:
Scouting Marketplace: A platform where football players can create profiles showcasing their stats, video highlights, and availability; where scouts can discover and evaluate talent; and where academies and clubs can manage recruitment and trial invitations.
Fantasy League: A competitive fantasy football game where users build squads from players across Europe's top 5 leagues, scout academy talent for bonus points, compete on weekly leaderboards, and win prizes.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice.
Access to the Fantasy League requires a Season Pass, currently priced at $10 USD per season (approximately 40 weeks). Pricing is subject to change. Promotional pricing (such as early member discounts) will be honored for qualifying users.
All payments are processed through third-party payment providers. By making a purchase, you agree to the applicable payment provider's terms.
Refunds: Season Pass purchases are generally non-refundable once the season has started. If you join before the season begins and wish to cancel, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting hello@scoutandstake.com.
Scout&Stake may offer sponsor-funded prizes for leaderboard performance. Prize amounts, eligibility criteria, and distribution methods will be announced each season. We reserve the right to modify prize structures at any time.
Prize winnings may be subject to applicable taxes in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on prizes received.
We reserve the right to withhold prizes if we reasonably suspect fraud, cheating, collusion, multi-accounting, or any violation of these Terms.
You retain ownership of content you upload to the Platform, including player profiles, video highlights, bio text, and profile images ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant Scout&Stake a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
You represent that you own or have the right to use any content you upload and that it does not infringe on any third party's rights. You are solely responsible for your User Content.
Prohibited content includes: content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, defamatory, threatening, obscene, or that infringes on any intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice.
Players who create profiles on the scouting marketplace understand that their information (name, age, position, stats, video highlights, and availability status) will be visible to scouts and academies using the Platform.
Scout&Stake does not guarantee any trial invitations, club interest, or professional opportunities. We are a discovery platform that facilitates connections but do not act as an agent, manager, or representative for any player.
Scouts and academies agree to use player information only for legitimate recruitment purposes and not to contact players outside of the Platform's messaging system in ways that are harassing or inappropriate.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent ban from the Platform, forfeiture of prizes, and potential legal action.
The Scout&Stake name, logo, branding, website design, software, and all related content are the intellectual property of Scout&Stake. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our intellectual property without express written permission.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Scout&Stake is not affiliated with any football club, league, or governing body unless explicitly stated. Player performance data used in the fantasy league is sourced from third-party providers and we do not guarantee its accuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scout&Stake shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Scout&Stake in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@scoutandstake.com.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unsuccessful, through binding arbitration or the appropriate courts.
